As one of the world’s largest and most impactful youth-serving NGOs, Junior Achievement (JA) delivers hands on, immersive learning in entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial health. Delivering more than 15 million student experiences each year in over 100 countries, JA Worldwide is one of few organizations with the scale, experience, and passion to build a brighter future for the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders.

The impact of our real-world training extends beyond individual students. For over 100 years, JA has operated allover the world, including in refugee camps, countries wracked by war and violence, and areas of extreme poverty. By helping youth develop the employment and entrepreneurial tools to find meaningful work and start sustainable companies, JA serves as a conduit for peace and prosperity. Through JA, young people are equipped with the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities.

Why we are partnering with Hack for Earth

JA Worldwide partners with Hack for Earth, the official hackathon at COP28, to offer the JA alumni community and specifically the “Gather Business” community a platform to grow their ideas, solve global challenges with the support of mentors and coaching, and have an impact in this world.
